Sturm, Ruger & Company has recently begun shipping its LCR in a kit with LaserMax laser and Elite Survival Systems pocket holster. This marks the second such collaborative effort by Ruger between the three companies, the first being the LCP with laser and holster. Although having been on the market for more than a few years, pocket holsters have become more and more popular as concealment carriers shed the idea of larger holsters or those that rely on belts and replace them with easier, sometimes more concealable options.
Elite’s pocket holsters are constructed from multiple materials that enhance their usability. The outermost layer is composed of Toughtek non-slip material to keep the holster inside the carrier’s pocket while in use. The internal layer is a high-density, smooth nylon to provide easier drawing and superior protection for the firearm’s finish. Elite Survival Systems has six sizes of pocket holsters available, ranging from LCP to LC9 or now the LCR with or without lasers.
